Dr. Qi Wang is a dedicated dental educator and clinician with extensive experience in private practice, public health, and academia. She earned her dental degree from Creighton University and completed a two-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Before joining Lincoln Memorial University College of Dental Medicine (LMU-CDM), Dr. Wang practiced in both private and public health settings, gaining broad clinical experience. Since LMU-CDM’s inception, she has played a key role in its development, holding multiple leadership positions. She has served as Implant Center Director, overseeing advanced implant training, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs, managing curriculum and academic policies, and has led preclinical sciences to strengthen foundational education.

Advancements and challenges in digital dentistry: Integrating technology into education, ethics, and emerging trends?
As dentistry continues to evolve, digital technologies are transforming education and clinical practice. Lincoln Memorial University College of Dental Medicine (LMU CDM) is at the forefront of this shift, integrating digital dentistry into its curriculum and patient care.
This keynote presentation explores the role of digital innovations in shaping the next generation of dental professionals. It will provide an overview of LMU CDM’s use of advanced digital imaging, 3D printing, and computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) systems. These technologies are seamlessly incorporated into both didactic instruction and clinical experiences, ensuring that graduates are proficient in state-of-the-art dental procedures.
The discussion will also address the challenges and opportunities associated with implementing digital tools in dental education.
